Zumr operates within the Central Bank of Oman’s Fintech Regulatory Sandbox, ensuring compliance with financial regulations under regulatory oversight. Additionally, Zumr uses Mala’a to verify clients before approving their membership, to confirm the identity and credibility of members. Members are required to sign contracts before joining, which adds an extra layer of security and accountability.

You can participate in two circles at the same time as long as you don't exceed your DBR limit.

When you apply to join a circle on Zumr, your application undergoes a financial review, including credit score checks. Based on the assessment, your application will either be approved, leading to membership, or rejected with a refund of the admission fee. This process ensures the circle's integrity and typically takes 1-3 work days.

Zumr applies a one-time admission fee for joining money circles that starts from 2 OMR.
